United Steel was highlighted in an article on JournalInquirer.com. They state:

United Steel Inc. of East Hartford was recognized by the Massachusetts Chapter of the Associated Builders and Contractors for its work on the Worcester Regional Transit Authority’s Maintenance and Operations Facility. As part of the structural steelwork for this 51,000-square-foot building, United Steel manufactured and installed a 48,000-pound steel truss that was 17 feet high by 80 feet long. The Connecticut Construction Industry Association also honored the company for its community-based SteelDay 2016 program, which offered tours of its state-of-the-art 175,000-square-foot automated manufacturing facility, including its new contamination-free “clean room.”
