Our Miscellaneous Metals and Structural Steel divisions were involved with the new Sandy Hook Elementary School which opened in August of 2016. The 86,800 sf project started in May of 2015 and we completed the tree columns, tree houses, stairs and railings in addition to the exterior canopy. The building was inspired by the "regenerative, restorative and healing elements of nature," including the building's tree motif, wood paneling and massive windows that let light pour in.
